Duane Dick, 73, has gone home, leaving behind a circle of those who loved him.

The chapters of his life were many; these are some of them.

Born in 1949, Duane began a life that would touch many along the way.

Duane spent his working life as ['the PepsiCola Company in the evening'] — and was, by all accounts, loved by those who knew him best.

Service is its own kind of love — quiet, steady, often unseen.
