After a life of love and quiet grace, Agatha Sedelmeier, 91, has passed.

What follows is not the whole story, but a thread of it.

Agatha entered this world in 1923 — the start of a journey that would span 92 years.

Agatha held deeply to the Presbyterian faith — and was, by all accounts, loved by those who knew her best.

Those who live by belief leave a different kind of mark.

Agatha Sedelmeier, 91 died Friday, January 16, 2015 at the Southridge Care Center, Sioux Falls. Funeral services will be at 1:00pm Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at Harmony Presbyterian Church, Hurley with burial at the Hurley Cemetery. Visitation with family present will be from 5-7pm Tuesday evening at the Hofmeister Jones Funeral Chapel, Hurley. Agatha Mae Enos was born on September 22, 1923 at Canton, SD to Frank and Nellie (Durbin) Enos. She grew up at Hurley, SD where she graduated from Hurley High School. On August 15, 1940 she was united in marriage to Robert E. Sedelmeier at Pipestone, MN. They lived in Hurley their entire married life where she was employed at Spomer's Market for many years. She was well known her cream pies. She was a member of the Harmony Presbyterian Church, Hurley American Legion Auxiliary, and the Hurley Senior Citizen's. Grateful for having shared her life are 2 children, Ralph (Janice), Geneva, NE and Rita (David) Nelson, Sioux Falls; a daughter in law, Michelle Sedelmeier, Sioux Falls; 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by parents, husband in 2007, 7 brothers and sisters, and 2 sons, Robert D. and Randy.
