Alan J. Elliott, 74, of Chippewa Falls, WI, formerly of Parker, SD, died Sunday, September 10, 2017 at Grace Woodlands in Eau Claire. He was born May 22, 1943, in Sioux Falls, SD. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from October 27, 1961 until August 2, 1967. On July 24, 1964, he married Judy McGary. Alan is survived by his son, Erik (Lisa) Elliott of Chippewa Falls, WI; daughter, Kristine (Edwin) Bumpass of Abilene, TX; granddaughter, Alie Bumpass; and sister, Jan Elliott of Grand Junction, CO. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Lydia (Wendt) Elliott; and wife, Judy in 1999. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, September 14 at Rosehill Cemetery in Parker, SD.
